DESCRIPTION:
WW - Tudor Oyster, ref 951, bumper automatic, circa 1950s, 34mm x 42mm to lug tips, 18mm lug width, original stainless steel screw back Oyster case, no strap, original white dial with applied silver indices, 17J, s#41773, triple signed. A rare and very early Tudor with a seldom seen bumper automatic.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, fine-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, hardly any oxide to steelwork, light fine scratches to rotor; excellent dial with light surface spotting and several small marks; excellent hands show light spotting; lightly polished case shows light wear and still retains most of its factory finishing, several light dings on the lugs and sides; Rolex signed crown shows very little wear, good threads; good plastic crystal; resealed for auction.
